A WAY WITH WORDS

At the age of eight, I wrote and self-published my first book — predictably, a fairy tale. My mom helped me create a fabric-bound cover for the one and only copy of my masterpiece. (It was the 70s. Everything was covered in fabric.)

It wasn’t until my first marketing job in 2000 that I found a way to turn my passion for writing into a career. For more than two decades, I held a variety of marketing roles in diverse industries like finance and B2B SaaS.

And now I’m bringing this lifelong love of the written word to my first solo venture, Jen Ribble Writes.

I’m passionate about my work, but it doesn’t define me. I am fiercely independent — some would even call me contrarian. I believe in taking (calculated) risks, and I’ll try just about anything once.

I’m a curious world traveler; a lover of good food, good wine, and good books; and a proud native of Detroit.

I have strong opinions about trivial things and a sarcastic sense of humor that I (usually) manage to keep in check.
